Current: Director of Photography for primetime UK television with 30 years experience in all outputs of programmes. Recent credits include ‘Dalziel & Pascoe’ and ‘Casualty’ for BBC1 and ‘Teachers’ for Channel 4.

2006: camera, sound and lighting consultant for ITV’s long-running series ‘The Bill’ also shooting 10 episodes for the current season. Advised on lighting and shooting style for a new series ‘Bianca’ for BBC1 which starts production in summer 2007.

2004: Advised as technical consultant for the BBC World Service Trust’s ‘Taste of Life’, a bi-weekly series for Cambodian television.

2003: Directed two series - ‘First Degree’ and ‘Not Getting Any’ for BBC Television.

1973: started training as cameraman in the BBC Film Unit.

General: Extensive knowledge of TV medium, experienced in the use of all formats of video production, including both standard and high definition at broadcast. For many years, advised on lighting and shooting for the BBC News and BBC Documentaries departments, travelling extensively in the process.
